Under The Ledge is a seasonal, off-grid campground for those who appreciate silence, stars, and slow mornings. Nestled beneath cliffs, surrounded by forest, and reachable only by foot, it’s a place built not for convenience — but for meaning.
Whether you stay in one of our wooden cabins or stretch your tent beneath the sky, everything here invites you to return to something simpler.
We offer four handcrafted A-frame cabins plus all the facilities included, each with space for two people. They’re simple, warm, and open to the view — perfect for couples, solo travelers, or friends looking for comfort without distraction. Inside: mattresses, solar light, and silence. Outside: a view of the valley, the sound of water, and the clearest night sky you’ve ever seen.
For those who bring their own shelter, we’ve leveled several terraces where you can pitch your tent in peace. You’ll be sleeping where farmers once grew their food — now reclaimed as peaceful corners of forest. Bring your own gear or let us know if you need help renting equipment.

NEED A LITTLE EXTRA?
Services with additional fees
To keep your hike light and your experience smooth, we offer a few extra services. These are optional, but many guests find them helpful — especially on the way in or out.
Need help carrying your gear up the trail? We can arrange for a mule to transport your luggage from Selce village to the campground. This service makes the hike easier and more enjoyable — especially for those with heavier packs.
Note: This must be booked in advance.

Onsite Groceries & Refreshments
While Under The Ledge is a self-catering campground, we offer a small but thoughtful selection of local goods and simple groceries to enhance your stay. Depending on the season, guests may find freshly harvested vegetables, handmade jams, herbal teas, or dried mountain herbs — all grown or prepared nearby.
We also stock natural juices, and cold drinks, along with firewood bundles for cozy evenings by the fire. These items are available for an additional fee and in limited quantities, so we recommend asking about availability in advance or upon arrival.

Guided Daily Hikes
While many trails are marked and can be followed independently, we also offer local guide services for those who want deeper insight or support on more demanding routes. Our guides know the land, the stories, and the safest paths — especially on challenging routes like the Waterfall Climb or Maja e Lerthit (The Axe).
Note: Some routes may require guides due to difficulty or lack of markings.
